Sagetv not getting channels, Media Portal, MCE do get channels
My first post on this forum so hello folks,
Just tried out the SageTv trial version with the Leadtek DTV dongle gold (usb tuner). It's not listed as a supported tuner on Sage, although it uses the Dibcom 7700 Chipset which should work. This same setup (tuner, antenna placement, antenna cables etc) gets perfect reception in Win 7 MCE, and Media Portal, so the signal is definitely not a problem. When I try to scan for channels on the device in Sage, it gives up after about 5% and says it couldn't find any channels. This is weird because it doesn't even seem to scan the full range available. Kinda disappointed as I really wanted to setup Sage over MCE/MP. Any suggestions?
