In preparation for the public beta of SageTV version 7, this forum is being created for discussions involving customizations to be used with the new plugin system and the new user interface.

The new default interface for version 7 uses the SageTV7 STV.


The previous SageTV3 STV/User Interface

The previous SageTV3 STV is still included with version 7 and many of the previous customizations and imports used with it in version 6 should still work. All discussions regarding customizations for SageTV3 should continue to be posted in the previously-existing customization forum:

The New SageTV7 STV/User Interface

Version 7 includes a new default interface; that STV is named SageTV7. This new STV has a plugin system built into it, which allows users to download and configure customizations from within the UI. Except for the SageTV3-based customizations, discussion of all customizations for version 7 and this new STV belong in this forum.

Several developers have already created plugins that are ready to use with the initial public beta of version 7. Tune in to this forum for more information about those plugins.
