Commercial Skip
Did a fresh install for SageTV 7, and now trying to get ComSkip working. I've been successful setting up and running Comskip via SJQ and think everything is working, except for playback. I tried to import ComSkip Monitor playback, but that seems to not be compatible with SageTV 7. Any suggestions on how I get this working? TIA

Did you enable "Auto skip commercials"? The default is "disabled".

Check "Setup", "Detailed Setup", "Customize", "Comskip Playback Options", "Playback Options", select "enable".

I do all my Comskip processing with SJQ on a second computer. I did not have to change anything on the second computer. I did have to set the "Playback Options" to "enable" on each HD-200 to get the Comskip playback to work.

I made the assumption that you already installed the Comskip 'plug-in'. The plug-in installs are a huge improvement for version 7.
