Navigate to "options" and "weather icon".. etc..

Hi ,

Been a long time user of Sage since the very first v6. (Well not long compared to others.. hehe). No issues at all with Sage.

Just installed v7 and it is amazing. I had problems with the old interface but this new one is great.

However how on earth do I get to "Options" in the lower right of the recordings screen with just an MCE remote ? I have left, right,up,down etc... But it never makes it there. Before I was using malore menu's, and I could arrow to options.

IS there a key I can map? Something easy?

I do not have a mouse connected to the PVR.

Thanks,

Ben

You would need to map the options command to a key. Just pick a key on the remote you don't use for anything else.

Ok that worked... Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet.

But I still do not see a way to open the weather panel... Unless I go through the menus.

Any idea about the Disk space bar?

EDIT: Found the Disk space bar. But Now i'm looking for the scheduled recordings bar ... That used all the time!

It's configured on the setup/detailed setup/customize page (way down).

But, it doesn't display when enabled?

That is why I asked because mine is not showing anymore on V7 .... I am not sure it is a SageTV feature or an unsupported extra

twiederTweaks will enable it, but it also adds other stuff that you may not be interested-in.

Edit: oops... looks like enzominator beat me to it while I was typing!

So I got home yesterday and I got the "I've spent I don't know how much time trying to click on the options button. How do you do that, I just can't figure it out." from my wife. Which I can't laugh at her, because I spent quite a while trying to figure out how to arrow over and click on the options button as well. That thing either needs to look less like something you can click on, or actually become something you can click on.

I think you can click on it if you're using a mouse on a PC client. I don't really like it, but I guess it was put there because some people don't realize that some screens have extra options available.

You can press Ctrl+o. Or I mapped the DVD Menu button to Ctrl+o and it works perfectly now. I think the "Options" is just there to tell the user there are options available.

But the thing I can't figure out, is how to "click" the weather icon on the title screen!! (And I mean "click" as via the remote not using a mouse. I have SageTV setup to completely be controlled via the MCE remote.
