I have a separate client license key that I only use for dev. I have actually also tried the approach you are suggesting with the client installed separately on the same server and I could not get it to work well.

Not sure if this is possible, but would it be hard to add the ability to Hide an imported folder from the Videos folder directory?

I have a huge folder used by mymovies, would love for it to not show up in Videos as well.

The new release now works for DVD and BD.....

I do have a couple questions though...

Most all my videos are simpy copied DVDs. I noticed first that I had no options to set the DVDs as watched from the DVD/BD menu but then since this specifically stated it was a plugin for "Folder" view I thought that may be the reason. But, when I go into Videos/Folders it seems the only videos I have the option to set as Watched and get the little "W" icon are non DVD videos.

Basically, I'm able to get this to work but only with my AVIs. Is it possible to get this to work with my DVDs as well? All my videos are saved in the same manner. Meaning, all my DVDs are in their own folder by DVD title and my AVIs are in their own folder by its own movie title as well.

Thanks!

Thank you for a great plugin

I would like to make a small request. When using only 1 item per row lists, the episode numbers show nicely in that list. But I'm using folder view with 5 items per row, so no info is shown in the actual list, only to the right. I'd like to see the episode number info here, next to the episode name.

This should now work... however, as I don't use this view please let me know if it needs some tweaks and provide a description and some screenshot if it does not work for you.

Please try it again with the new release as I did some updating for beta 15, however, I think it could be an incompatibility between my plugin which displays the Episode Name and the Phoenix plugin that may be displaying the title. Try disabling the Phoenix plugin to see if that is the case.

jusjoken,
I cannot disable Phoenix api your plugin requires it.. same situation with new release. When I first get the metdata everything appears fine but as soon as i refresh the library... I get no episode names.

Edit I am not sure if the post below addresses the problem.

It's not the Phoenix api that I was suggesting was a possible issue... I think you are also using a plugin called Phoenix Fanart for SageTV V7 or some other plugin that displays fanart as mine does not (yet). This is where the conflict may be.

In the Web UI for BMT - what does the Episode Name field show? In my code I am using GetShowEpisode and then appending the (SxxExx) portion.

It works great, thank you. "(SxxExx)" shows up fine after the episode name.

I just tested my plugin with the Phoenix Fanart plugin and I had no issues so there does not seem to be a conflict there (if that is what you are using for fanart).

Either another plugin is conflicting or something is wrong in BMT.

I am no BMT expert but go to the Web UI at http://localhost:8080/bmt

Go to "Browse" and then select "Sage Imports (Combined)" from the views

Then select one of your show folders, then a season folder, then click on one episode. You should see something like the attached screenshot.

Let me know what you see.

jusjoken,

Completely uninstalling BMT and re-installing corrected the problem. Thanks for your help looks good.

justjoken,

I found a problem with your plugin where it removes the setwatched/unwatched from the options. See thread below. Screenshots attached.

As Opus has made some recent changes to this function for recordings, and I was using those same functions for CVF to allow this for Videos, I will also need to change my plugin and provide a new release.

I am away from home until next week so I will try to get a fix out next week... thanks for finding this.

This plugin is completely awesome. It makes browsing so much more pleasant with the ability to see only the non watched videos. I have two comments.
1. It is little bit unintuitive to get to the checkbox to toggle display watched/unwatched only by pushing the Watched button. I would expect it in the popup menu displayed when I click on the item (Option button on default remote? my harmony remote has it mapped to Menu button)
2. There is no way to set watched/unwatched flag on the entire import directory, only on the subdirectory of the import directory (in the Folder view). I have several import directories and sometimes I would like to set/reset them all for some of them.

Thank you for such a great work.

1. You should get a "Watched Options" menu item when you select a folder (Info/Select) and from there you can toggle the watched/unwatched flag. This is broken now on the latest STV release so I will need to fix it and upload a new version.

2. I am not sure I understand. This option should be available at any Folder level and will take affect on all videos in that folder. If you want this at the level above - all folders - I am not sure how often you would need/want that.

k
