You make the rest of your family live in the basement? Not cool. I guess it would be nice to have the house to yourself...

Hey I'm still living in a SageTV 6.6 world until I can get a touchscreen capable SageTV 7 solution. It doesn't look like SageTV 7 standard interface, nor Diamond are catering to the Touchscreen friendly crowd yet...any chance the Phoenix developers are planning to ensure touchscreen only interface friendliness? I'm hoping Maui's presence and his work that enabled SageMC to befriend my kitchen touchscreen will bode well for this capability.

thanks,

mv

You DO know you can still run the old UI on your kitchen screen, while using v7 elsewhere...

yes, but there are multiple threads on the various bugs using SageMC on SageTV 7 some of which I know will affect me because of my set up. My touch interface is used by all members of the family, so it has to work right w/o a bunch of "Dad tech" call outs. Also this system is my 7x24 server so it has to have pretty robust apps on it.

What parts of SageTV7 are not touch friendly? Hard for someone to make changes if noone knows what the problems are.

Quick video I took of the banner flow in Phoenix.

We are very close to public beta now. Just a few more wrinkles to work out.

btl.

Zing!

From using Phoenix for several months already I can say in my opinion they are doing it right. Bialio, meinmaui, stuckless, et. Al. Really got it down. This ui is phenomenal!

I tell u Guys all the time in the private forum, but Wow! Phoenix is where it's at

The public beta is going to be out of control!

Shame I can't see the private forum you guys have as I've got a couple of suggestions for you but I guess they can wait till you go public.
