Newbie hardware confusion

Sorry if these questions are stupid, but here's my situation. I purchased the hardware to build a Sage machine about a year and a half ago. Then I got married, moved, etc. and needless to say, I never got a chance to build it. Now I'm completely lost. If someone could be so kind, please clarify if I need all these parts and how they work. I was afraid I would need a new MB, but I think this one I have will work if someone can confirm:
http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=pr...&prod_no=1086#

- I got a HVR-2250 and have an old XFX Geforce 8800 GT card. Will that work together?
- The 2250 came with (or I ordered, can't remember) a second little PCI card. Looks like it plugs into the 2250. Is that the IR Blaster? I also bought a USB-UIRT. Does that do the same thing? Do I need both? I'm going to be using a DISH set top box.
- I got a Diamond Xtreme 7.1 sound card, in hopes some of the stuff can be sent to my receiver in surround. Was I right in my thinking?

Really, I appreciate any help and sorry for the newbie questions. About to pull my hair out.

The HVR-2250 will be able to record from your Dish boxes Standard Def S-Video and Analog Audio Left/Right. It will also be able to record OTA broadcasts in HD from an antenna. The Analog outs from the dish box do not have surround sound, but the HD OTA broadcasts will. If you want HD from Dish into sage, you've got 2 options. A Hauppauge HD-PVR conencted via component to an HD Dish STB, or an R-5000 modified Dish ViP-211 (NOT the 211k).

Thanks. Not worried about the HD (since the TV isn't), but good to know regarding the output from DISH sound wise. Now I just need to figure out what this little Haup card is, and if the UIRT replaces it.

What ports are on it? I'm guessing it's the second input board (Should have S-Video, Composite, Left and Right). The 2250 is a dual capture card, so it can actually work with 2 inputs at once.

It has a S-Vid, Comp, Aud, Blaster 2. It's made for a slot, but doesn't plug into the MB. It plugs into the 2250. Is it for a second tuner?

Yes, those are the 2nd set of analog inputs.
