Win7x64 and HVR-2250 (Analog, QAM and ATSC)
This issue *does not* seem to be fixed in 7.0.15
Just starting a new thread, mainly to mention specifically an issue encountered in 7.0.11, 7.0.12, 7.0.13 and 7.0.14 with the HVR-2250 and ATSC tuning. These beta versions were showing tuner failure messages repeatedly and would eventually fail to channel scan as well one tuner (both on the card set to ATSC). There were also issues, discussed in another thread with the HVR-2250 and analog and QAM tuning, which for some people was resolved with a new dshowcapture dll on top of 7.0.12 and 7.0.13 or simply by updating to 7.0.14. I have two HVR-2250 cards in the system along with an HVR-1600. One HVR-2250 set up with each of its tuners doing both Analog and QAM (two different lineups) set on two different inputs (each "tuner" has multiple inputs to allow this). The other HVR-2250 set to double ATSC and the HVR-1600 also set to ATSC. After moving preferences, properties and wiz.bin from a working XP installation to a Wndows 7 x64 install, *and* rescanning all channels on all tuners, everything seemed to be working properly in terms of tuning for a few hours. I have just noticed however that there have been 63 tuner scanning errors since 4pm this afternoon. Last one occurring at 8pm according to the system messages.

Ok, I know this thread is for Win7x64 but I have Win7x86 and I still can't get QAM to work. Now, I haven't tried the latest beta yet. But it isn't fixed in .14 and the .15 notes don't say anything about it. It was working in .10 but I was running WHS at the time. I reformatted, changed over to Win7x86 and moved to sage beta .12 all at the same. And ever since no QAM.

The release notes didn't mention anything specific to my issue either, I was simply told via email that they'd reproduced the issue and that a fix should be included in 7.0.15.
I've sent along the updated logs which clearly mark where/when the failures are happening. Hopefully Sage can glean enough information to try something else.

I'm still on 7.0.12, but planning on the upgrade to 7.0.15 this weekend. Sage came out with 7.0.13 and, then, very quickly with 7.0.14 to address the HVR2250 QAM tuning issue. Have you tried the dshowcapture.dll file introduced with 7.0.12 (I think) that corrected the problem in previous beta installs? It may be the same one that is now included in 7.0.15, but, then again, maybe not.

Unfortunately that replacement dll didn't do anything for the issues I was seeing, and it (or equivalent) was also already included in 7.0.14

Yep, same for me. Neither that file or the .14 equivalent has fixed anything for me.

Beta 11 worked fine for me, however 12, 13, 14 did not. None of my clear QAM channels would work (no signal).
I installed beta 15 last night and all is working again. Windows 7 x64, HVR-2250 running 22xx_7.9.1.28162 driver

While I've duplicated the issue that I reported, it's not a constant bother at the moment. When I first discovered it, Sage would be producing errors for that one tuner on a constant basis.
At this point, I have't seen the issue since last night at 10pm. I may be able to stick with Win7 for the time being until the remaining issue is fully addressed.
