Ubuntu 10.4 Sage Client hangs if video is paused for 30 minutes

I bought the Linux OEM Sage server and installed it on my PVR that has two Haug500s, so it allows me to record 4 channels. I had a friend of mine (who is and expert in Linux) to help with most of it, but in the end, everything worked perfectly and is very stable, and installing lirc works perfect with the MS remote.

The only problem we ran into is if the video is paused for more than 30 minutes, the server client hangs. We disabled all the "Power Management and Screen Saver" controls on both Ubuntu and Sage and no help. Pause the video for 30 minutes and press play, and the client hangs hard. If you pause the video for 29 minutes, no problem, or if you pause over 30 minutes and use the remote jump-back in the video (example 5 seconds) then you can hit play, else you must stop and restart the client.

I guess it's not a big bother unless you pause stuff, walk away for more than 30 mintues and come back to it and forget to jump back before you hit play.

Else keep the mouse close to the remote so you can shutdown the client and restart it.
