SageTV v7 Main menu font size

Hi all,
This is going to be hard to explain. I just upgraded to v7 and the font size on the main menu (videos, music..etc) is very large, so much that for example Videos is all squished together until I try to select it then it separates and it's readable. While this is a rather cool effect, I'm sure it's not supposed to be that way.

When I was using v6, I customized the layout and font of the main menu just by pressing the Options button on the remote. I can't seem to find how to change it now with v7.

Any ideas?

Assuming you are using the extender in your sig, you need to update your firmware to the latest beta release. That solved the issue for me.

well, i updated the firmware and the HD200 will not boot all the way up. It gets to the screen saying media extender is starting then it just quits. The green power light is on and i've tried unplugging and plugging it back in. Still the same thing. After i get that fixed, I'll get back to you and let you know if it fixes the font problem. Thanks for your response.

I had to follow the directions in the link below to restore my HD200 to a previous firmware, so I wasn't able to try this.
It certainly seems like something with the HD200 firmware since the font on the server looks perfect.

Did you update to the Beta firmware and not the released firmware?

In case you aren't aware of this, to get the beta you need to type "beta" at the update screen (ie hit 2382 on the number keys of the sage remote). The screen should say beta update after typing the numbers.

I had the exact issue you are describing on my HD 100 and HD 200 until switching to the beta firmware. If you already had the latests beta than I am out of suggestions.

Note: I am currently using 201002120 on the HD 100 and 201008300 on the HD200

I was trying to upgrade to the latest beta firmware 20100830 0 same as you. I could try the previous beta version. Isn't there a place to download an official release?
I've been working with support for the last 2 days and they can't seem to figure it out either. I can't see it being something wrong with my setup since I stop it from auto connecting to the server before going into settings > updates and putting in 2382 to have it look for the latest beta firmware.
(I added that in there so you'd know what steps I've taken :0)
