Fan Art on Mac

Hi all, what are the steps to install sagemc for the mac version of sagetv, I have seen some posts online but they don't seem to be a real step by step. I would really like to update the look of the sagetv UI, and also add fan art (i think that's what it's called, video covers for your movies).
