Bear in mind that CC is only a benefit for the American market, for the rest of us 7MC has no major benefits over Sage... (unless you count the UI and really that's now a moot point with Sage v7 and themes/plugins such as Diamond).

What is CC?

And the ONLY things I can think WMC7 has on sage at this point is cablecard support for copy once channel (copy freely can be made to work now) and true netflix support (there is a work around, which is OK). If those 2 things don't really matter, I see no reason why anyone would want to use WMC7, cause there are 100+ things sage can do that WMC7 can't.

Seriously? What purpose does that post serve other than to get people's emotions flowing? Is your intent to upset the devs? I just don't see any logic behind someone making such a post.

He's probably just upset that we didn't post a "Malore/Fuzzy" recording screen shot, here you go Fuzzy

FYI - I might start doing powerpoints, you know to add some animation to the stills

powerpoint shmowerpoint, you got nothing on Ortus' presentations.

But then again, at least you already have a released version out, so as of now, Jort is better than ort, and the J is for Jawesome.

Performance?

Is anyone else having random performance issues?

My UI will run great for 30 minutes then all of a sudden the UI in Recorded TV will just choke? It will get stuck on the little circle spinning thing for 20 seconds. I had no issues with the stock UI.

I have 4GB of ram and a quad core with windows 7 so specs should not be a issue(right)?

Hey Alton,

Has it always been that way for you? Or did it start recently?

Do you have your java heap set to 1GB?

Jeremy

Yeah Java heap is at 1GB, it wasn't until I got my fan art at 100%(Posters\Backgrounds\Banners) that I started seeing this. So I'm assuming its a performance issue but hoping it something I can optimize.

Given that our diamond build should be out this Friday I would wait and see if you still have the issue with the new build as we have changed caching 100%.

Don't be teasing us about a Friday release if it's not going to be Friday.
