Yeah, the phoenix fanart plugin hides the titles if there is fanart for the item. If there isn't, it keeps the title.

I don't use phoenix and I'd rather not add more plugins than are really necessary.

I'll add my requests to the google project.

Thanks!

edit:

I see you have already added the hide volume slider request. thanks!

We would rather not duplicate features that already exist as that is a bit redundant as well if our plugins work with theirs as most all should we see no reason to duplicate.

maybe to you, but it is pointless if you use a digital audio output.

there is a plugin that removes this in the default v7 stv. will that work with this theme? my guess is no...

I use the same but the volume never bothered me

Regardless we have excepted this request on google code as you said the other plugin doesn't work with ours so it isn't a duplicate change and we will get it added to ours.

Cheers

Really makes since to me....

I am saying another plugin offers this feature and works with our plugin. We have no need or want to duplicate features other plugins already offer as this is redundant.

Maybe Plucky didn't think so, but I thought that was a bit harsh. The first part was totally uncalled for. You're here asking someone (practically begging, actually) to make a change to a plugin they're giving away and then you critique his grammar? BTW, in your sentence, "you're" would have been proper English.

I don't know Plucky personally, but keep in mind that the internet is not comprised of just the English-speaking populations of the world. So, don't expect everyone to be able to write perfectly in English... as you so eloquently and ironically demonstrated.

Simplified Recording Screen

I logged this on Google code too but thought I would throw it out there and see if others agree etc...

REQUEST: When accessing grouped recordings the title is unnecessarily duplicated for each episode. Can this be made to have a single title (Grey's Anatomy) then list each episode title beneath it without the duplication of the main title?

Grouped Recording Screen: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/393451/Group...g%20Screen.jpg

The screen seems too text heavy and this little change could bring some breathing room to the page. It would be nice to also include season/episode info too (incorporated somehow into the episode title) but not as important: S01E01 etc.

I know a change like this is beyond the scope of a theme but if it could be modified I think it would help clean up the page a bit.

Am I the only one that thinks that the title duplication is unnecessary?

We gave this feedback early on in the private beta for V7 - I was hoping Sage would do something about it.

But a plugin (probably not this one) should be written by razsharpe to do this.

I'd hope so - you wrote it!

I am a little worried that the download counts are not matching for the Diamond theme and Diamond UI Mod. If people follow the instructions they should match as the UI Mod lists the Theme as a dependency and should have updated both. I know there are probably other things going on (reinstalls, downloading just the file to look at it cause it's so pretty etc... ) just want to make sure that people aren't stuck with it half installed etc...

So just another reminder to install Diamond via the Diamond UI Mod and the Diamond theme will install as a dependency automatically, no need to install it separately.

Shouldn't you be able to make the theme have a dependency on the UI Mod - so that either route both get installed?

No sage doesn't allow circular dependencies like that results on a lockup when trying to install. Sagetv said yes it isn't supported

If only we could hide addins that shouldn't be installed on their own I digress.

Until SageTV does that (which I suspect they will, given threads like this), why not name it something less "interesting" so that people won't even know that it's related?

Why can't the dependencies have the yellow flag on them that says Not Compatible, Do Not Install... Or, something like that. Just like the flag indicating that there's an update available. It would make it quite obvious at a glance.
