what happened?!?!?

ok, so I was happily SMM'ing, then there was an SMM update, so I did that...
then SMM exploded... it was horrible, dead bodies everywhere...


so what happened? ever since the last upgrade, the SMM API plug in thing keeps "failing" why? it was happy before... now, its not so happy...
how do I go back to the old workie version?
I promise never to upgrade again... just make SMM work again... please?

Have you tried uninstalling the SMM application while keeping the API? That usually works for me:

1. Uninstall the Sage My Movies application
2. Go to the General plugin tab - in my case, the API (which before was failed) now shows active
3. Now reinstall the Sage My Movies application

That worked for me.

More importantly the only reason I have seen it fail lately is because you aren't using the latest pre release of mymovies collection manager as pre release notes. Are you?

I started with what was the latest prerelease RC (4?) just a couple days ago... they didn't come out with a 5 yet did they?
oh, I just checked, it seems they officially released 3.18 on the 2nd...

do I need to upgrade(?) to that? is it even an upgrade? or is it just the official release of 3.18rc4?

I have completely uninstalled both SMM & API, and tried re-installing...

Well at that point I need logs can't help without them I need server logs and mymovies logs as per the sticky at top and wiki.
