Any other R5000 users?

With the latest update to their software the channel changing has improved quite a bit. But I still get frequent problems with SageTV playing R5000 recordings.

What would happen is I'd get through say 5 minutes or 10 minutes or whatever (it happens at random points in time) and the SageTV either suddenly crashes or the video just stops playing. I could fast forward but it's just stuck on one frame and no audio.

What's interesting though is I could still play the video using VideoLAN player. Sometimes I'll notice a disturbance at the precise time SageTV would have consistently stopped playing the video but VideoLAN will get by it.

Is there anything I can do to remedy this situation?

Would be great if either:

a) SageTV would be as fault tolerant as VideoLAN player

or

B) R5000 did not produce corrupted frames in it's recorded video

I have frequent video issues if I try to watch from my PlaceShifter PC client, but my HD300's have been pretty solid with the R5000's and Dish 211's. I plan to upgrade to Sage v7 soon, and hopefully the experience will be even better.
