R5000 Users-MPV Work for you?

I have an R5000 modified receiver that works nicely with sage. I currently use a Roku Photobridge to play back the SD and HD recordings. About 6 months ago I purchased an MVP to hook up to one of our SD TV's to play back primarily SD recroded TV. I hooked it up and ran into all kind of trouble with playback because with the R5000 the recordings are actually .ts transport streams and the MVP wouldn't play them. This latest release says that it fixes this issue and that the mvp can properly play .ts files. Can any r5000 users that have an mvp verify that it plays these recordings? I don't want to purchase again and it not actually work.

I have the r5000 mod and an MVP that ran fine using the earlier v6 beta's, although I couldn't fast forward/rewind live tv (would crash playback and I'd have to stop and restart playback, no issues with recorded material though) but never had any other R5000 related issues. I currently don't have that MVP up and running so I haven't tried it with the latest Sage v6RC.
