Newbie Help with HD 300

I have a new Win7 64Bit server with HD300, The live worked for the first two hours, since then it doesn't work. I can schedule Programs to record, they record to the Server no problem, can be played back no problem on the server, but not on the Extender. Also the recorded files can not be played back on the extended but ironically if I fastforward i see the pictures flash by, but no dice on regular playback

Any help here?
Justin

Found It, kinda

After leaving my extender off for a hour or so unplugged, it works again. I must have a bad extender!

What firmware do you have on it? I don't believe that is a valid number at all....
