HD300 Navigation problems with urc 8820n

I have 2 HD300 and I’m having problems with my urc 8820n remote sending repeat signals. When I’m in the main menu on either HD300 or when connected to Sage the up/down/left/right will jump as many as 3 menu items per push. I have edited the following options in Sage.properties and SageClient.properties and Sage.properties.SageTV VXXX files and changed them from the defaults to:

infrared_receive_repeat_delay=550
infrared_receive_repeat_delay_rc5=550
infrared_receive_repeat_period=350

It hasn’t seemed to work. If anything its causing the other keys (i.e. 0-9) to repeat really slow, but not the arrow keys. I believe the problem is with the urc 8820n and HD300, but I don’t know where to look. Any suggestions.

I think I figured it out or at least made it workable. I re-learned all the codes on my 8820, but this time I made sure I only hit the originating remote key once and had plenty of space between the remotes. For the most part its working. I still have the delays listed above and I'm still receive some repeat digits, but its not that often.

Were you using the canned codes from the URC database? Because I have something similar with my URC R50.

No, I called One for All and they said they didn't have any codes. I had to learn each code. For the most part its working better, but I still get some double signals sent.
