PlaybackException: ERROR(-5,0x80040200)
I'm having this error when trying to configure my tv tunner (hauppauge 2250) on my clean install WHS v1.
There was a Playback Error in playback. Details: sage.PlaybackException: ERROR (-5,0x80040200): There was a problem rendering the audio portion of the content for payback. What can I do? |

SKip that step. There is no media playing by default on your WHS. You need to install and play from an extender or PC client. You installed this as an add-in on your WHS, correct? Install Placeshifter on a PC or use an extender to configure. Do not RDP to the server.

On WHS you need to make sure that the PC you are on has a login ID on WHS. So if you log into the PC with the ID Joe then you need to create that ID Joe on the WHS on give it permissions to the share. Do this thru the WHS Console.
