FYI: Enhancement I logged (re: Channel Setup)

Just thought I'd share an enhancement request I logged. It's not been a significant issue, more of a pain and source for errors in the setup of my tuners.

I wonder if others have noticed this.

Enhancement Suggestion:

Use Case:
While setting up QAM channels (mapping to CableCo Line-up), I find that the channel doesn't always actually change...but acts as if it has. The video is from the same channel, but the detail shows a change (wrongly). I tracked this down to an active recording, coming from Intelligent Recordings.

Problem:
QAM channel mapping is better than ever in Sage, but a pain by nature. This problem results in painful mistakes when trying to match up the obscure QAM channel to the right one in the guide.

Suggestion:
I resolve this to a great degree by turning off Intelligent Suggestions. I am not sure what would happen regarding Favorite or Manual recordings. SO....

When I go to the channel setup for sources, show me some type of dialog to warn me...or better, give me some option to turn off Intelligent Suggestions temporarily and, if needed, maybe deal with the upcoming recordings if they are also a potential problem.

I have the same issue and I do not have intelligent recordings running.
