Question SageTV extenders and Sony LocationFree - remote codes needed

Hello,

is anybody using SageTV extenders with Sony LocationFree? If so, can you post (attachment) of your .rcd files to get the remote control to work? I picked up cheap new Sony LF-PK1 on ebay to use with my PSPs but I cannot get the remote to work. I have read this thread

http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34893

but if I create the .rcd files the PSP nor the Windows GUI shows it. I am assuming it is due to checksum mismatch of spaces and tabs, but I cannot recreate the original working .rcd files.

The setup is super easy and the picture is great as well, just to get the remote working :-).

Thank you.

Nothing helps to figure out the correct answer than posting on the forum. As soon as you hit the Submit button, you get idea how to do it

In any case, rename the attached file to UNIV0020.rcd and place it into \MSSONY\LF\RC_DATA\ starting from the root of your memory stick. Then in settings select Custom Remote -> MVP. Works like a charm, enjoy your SageTV on your PSP. This is a great way how to reuse those old extenders. Thanks to Bacon2002 and Ironware for doing the legwork.
