I seem to be having the same sort of problem. It's like the begining position is starting at 300. Is this how it's supposed to be?

Title Cars
Sage MediaFile ID 5370839
Position 87

Title 50 First Dates
Sage MediaFile ID 1287580
Position 297

Title Crazy Heart
Sage MediaFile ID 11276866
Position 300

Title Due Date
Sage MediaFile ID 10789718
Position 355

Yup I double and tripled checked, and as you can see I posted all the ID's for those 3 movies. Again, it is sorting the list of movies correctly by MediafileID. It's just that the display of the list is not starting at the correct position. I'll explain the issue one more other way...

Movie A - MediaID 4
Movie B - MediaID 3
Movie C - MediaID 2
Movie D - MediaID 1
Movie E - MediaID 0

From above I have a total of five movies, each with their own mediaID when sorting by "Newest Added First"...The list should be

Title____Position in list
Movie A (1/5)
Movie B (2/5)
Movie C (3/5)
Movie D (4/5)
Movie E (5/5)

But what I get is....

Title____Position in list
Movie C (1/5)
Movie D (2/5)
Movie E (3/5)
Movie A (4/5)
Movie B (5/5)

So as you can see it sorts right (Movie D comes after Movie C, and Movie E , comes after Movie D) , but Movie A does not start off the list, Movie C does...

I think you might understand now what's happening... but you can't reproduce it on your system...

Are sure it is not just the wrapping that is throwing you off? I will give it another look tomorrow.

After sorting have you tried backing out of the screen and then coming back in? What I have noticed is when you initially choose the sort order it doesn't do a true screen refresh and the list won't look right. If you left arrow out of the screen and then come in your sort order should be correct with A at the top of the list.

Yeah I noticed that too, but that doesn't resolve this problem.

Plucky, it's also not at the end of the list and just continuing over. Like I was saying before the movie that should be first is in position 623 out of 787 total movies.

hmm sort should instantly refresh

Let me know if you have issues with the new build released today there are some changes in there related to issues you are seeing/having.

If you are still having issues I will need to send you some test imports with logs to see the issue.

Which issue the date added or release date? I don't see how it could just effect 2 people is what is throwing me and I also just don't see how it could do
Anything to throw the order as we just call sort on a method and it is the last thing done.

I can send you guys a version with a column to show what it is sorting by to either show it is right or why it is off.

We don't shy the defaults views and the other thread I believe was about those. If it is a diamond view let me know. I am not sure what sagemc sorts by but I know what diamond does.

For me it's the date added. I never really looked to see if the release date was right.

Update - I removed all of my sources and added them back in one by one after a full scan in between and it appears to be sorting the newest added first correctly. Keeping my fingers crossed

Ok, well lets do that. Btw the sort based on title name works perfectly fine.

Did you want me to send you a PM as well for the test files? As I posted above, after removing all sources and ading them back, I don't seem to have this problem any longer.
