Feature Request

This feature occurred to me as I was cycling through my library and trying to assign posters that I prefer to see, rather than leaving the automatically defaulted ones. It’s very busy work to step through the library to assign one of the various posters available to be assigned. I think it would be an excellent idea to have a set of buttons to advance to the next title while staying in the edit metadata view something like Next Title/Previous Title...

It would make it much quicker than having to back out to get to the next title.

Just a suggestion.

That's a good idea. I'll add it to the list

Analogous to the above request.

When changing a fanart poster; setting one as the new default, can the button for ‘Make Default’ include a Save action to avoid having to click save on the main edit page?

It’s a habit of mine to set a default poster, get the message that the image I just selected is now the default and then forget to commit the changes on the main edit page before backing out and moving onto the next one.

It seems logical to me that a commit be performed at the same time as making the default. I know it’s nit-picky. I hope you don’t mind me offering up suggestions...

I'd have to confirm, but I think that setting the default poster button acutally commits that part of the change right away. The save on the metadata form is really to save the metadata changes that you make and not the default poster.

You're right. It does do the commit. I thought it wasn't, I must have looked for the changes too fast!

Another Feature Request

I think it would be nice to be able to load more items at a time then the current default action for ‘Load More Items’.

Is it possible/likely that the button take on more options? Keeping the regular action as the primary option, but adding a small arrow to the button to include options something like: 50, 100, Load ALL...

Fortunately that's already covered... Configuration -> Phoenix -> Web UI

I set mine to 30... but you can set it to whatever value you like... just know that the more you load the longer it can take to render the page.... I suspect that keeping it under 100 would still work ok.
