Unable to start Studio

I'd love to try my hand at customizing SageTV, but right now I'm stuck at the starting gate. According to the manual I am supposed to start Studio from within the SageTV client using the keystroke Ctl-Shift-F12. When I do that I just get a blank screen in the SageTV client and no new window pops up or anything.

Am I missing something?

Ctrl+Shift+F12 should work on licensed copies of SageTV.exe or SageTVClient.exe (unless you've remapped that keystroke to some other command). It will not work in trial mode.

It can also work in Placeshifter in some circumstances, but the Studio window opens on the server, not on the machine running Placeshifter.

There may be some additional quirks on Linux servers (where there is no SageTVClient), but I'm not an expert on that.

If you're using multiple monitors, I would expect the Studio window to open on the primary monitor. You might also try taking Sage out of full-screen mode before opening Studio.
