HD300 Audio Dropout Issues through HDMI & Motion Adaptive Deinterlacing

In the last couple of weeks I noticed audio dropouts while watching a couple of Bluray movies that were ripped (want my media library accessible on my network). In loud passages, such as a passage with a lot of gunfire, I would experience audio dropouts when the volume on the receiver was set fairly high. However, this would not occur at the exact same moment in the movie if I was watching the movie with the disc as the source. Could it be possible that the HD300 is sending out a higher voltage signal through its HDMI output than my Panasonic Bluray player? Is there any way to correct this problem within the HD300's menu settings?

For reference my receiver is a NAD T775 with the AM200 & VM200 modules. Which leads me to my other question. I have a very good video processor in my receiver and would like it to do all the video processing. Should I disable motion adaptive deinterlacing in the HD300 or should I keep it enabled? I don't believe the video processing in the HD300 or in the SageTV software would be as capable as the Gennum (Sigma) VXP processor in my receiver. Is that a faulty assumption?

My assumption is to disable it if I'm certain my video processor can do an excellent job of deinterlacing. What I need to know is if my assumption is correct or functionality of this option in SageTV different in some manner from what my assumption is. My assumption is that SageTV's motion adaptive deinterlacing deinterlaces and interlaced signal in the same manner as other deinterlacers. If that's the case, then it's simply a question of which deinterlacer does a better deinterlacing job. I suspect the Gennum VXP processor would offer superior deinterlacing.

I guess my question is whether my assumption of SageTV's motion adaptive deinterlacing option correct or not?
