PlayOn Imports - Netflix, Hulu, etc

Would it be possible to put an indication in BMT to indicate that a movie is actually a PlayOn import from sources such as Netflix or Hulu?

The Diamond Plugin flags them with little logos already if you want to give it a try.

Given the nature of how the playon plugin works, I think it creates a physical file for each imported movie. There is no way that I tell if this file is a playon file, unless the importer is setting a custom metadata field that identifies it as such. So, if anyone knows, then just let me know, and i can add it the enhancements list.

Yep, I'm setting the comment property to be "PlayOn,Content Source(Hulu\Netflix\etc)"

Cool... I'll add an enhancement so that I can flag them based on the comment.

Not sure if this is related

I noticed a change in how BMT pulls my PlayOn imports and I cannot figure out what changed. I am not sure if the activity in this thread has any relation but BMT now picks up to m4v's from my PlayOn folders and displays each with fanart in my SageTV (Diamond) views. For example it shows both as separate videos:

\Videos\PlayOn\Movies\Blade Runner Theatrical Cut\Blade Runner Theatrical Cut (1983).m4v.playon

\Videos\PlayOn\Movies\Blade Runner Theatrical Cut\Blade Runner Theatrical Cut (1983).m4v

It did not used to do this. Any ideas? Thanks.

bmt doesn't import files into the sagetv mediafile collection. rather it gets notified when new files are added, and then it looks up metadata for it. So,if you are seeing those as 2 media file imports, bmt is not responsible, although bmt will happily fetch metadata for it if requested.
