HD-300 thinks movies are 480p instead of 480i
The setup:
I have a Panasonic minidv camera that records in 480i. I have transferred the movies from minidv to my computer using windv. When I run mediainfo on the movies they all show as "Scan type=interlaced" When I try to watch these movies on my hd-300 they look incorrect. If I check the info on the file from the hd-300 it says that they are 480p movies. The question: Any ideas on why this may be? I would like to watch my home movies through my hd-300 but the video looks horrible through it because it isn't recognizing the scan type properly.
