well there is the webremote that now comes shipped with the Mobile Web UI....currently i have the following working and very close to release

Standard web remote (already released)
Swipe remote (uses single/double finger gestures to complete remote commands)
Motion remote (uses iOS accelerometer to perform certain actions. For example tilting the device right mimics a right arrow press.)

does that sound interesting to ya?

Ive been using them for a while as i developed them, and I must say they are pretty awesome :-D
