Feature Request - Correct Show Title

I have used the Mediaitles.xml in BMT to help obtain metadata matches but what about correcting inconsistencies in the titles that come from the SageTV EPG?

For example I record a children's show entitled Ni Hao, Kai-Lan - this is a Nick Jr that is shown here in Canada on both NickJr Canada and Treehouse TV. Occasionaly the title comes through as Ni Hao, Kai-lan (no capitalization on the lan) which cause the show to group separately in Diamond.

There is also an issue where a show can be called "Thomas and Friends" or "Thomas & Friends" or "Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends", ...

Is there any way to put a feature in BMT to control for this and to actually use the MediaTitles.xml to change the title of a SageTV recorded TV show?

Or can you actually do this today and I just haven't used the ShowTitles file enough?

Or should I just write a SJQ script to do this?

It's something that I've thought about... but doesn't currently exist. I'm not sure I'd use the media titles (only because of the where it gets uses in the lookup lifecycle), but it would be handy to have a title mapper for "fixing" titles.

I'll probably add something like this someday... but it won't be in the near future.. so, if you can, I'd look at creating a custom script.
