Is there a universal translator that handles forum name <-> real name conversions?

I just used the same picture to make things easy, but yeah I have no clue who some of you are without forum names. I've figured out quite a few though.

Yes, go into your profile and click on ABOUT. Under OTHER NAMES, put your forum name. Anybody should then be able to pull you up with a search.

Yeah, I already did that after noticing it on some other profiles. I guess more people need to do so.

Sadly, given some of the hostility here on the forums, I think he may lay low for a while. Can't say I'd blame him, either.

There has to be an easier way to build a master SageTV circle list.

Will this completely take you off-grid? With that many panels, I'd certainly hope so, lol.

50 x 230W x 4.2hours/day = 48.3kWh/day, averaged over the entire year. You'd have to live REALLY frugally, which is something NO sagetv user does, let along Andy... (To go off grid, you'd have to have enough surplus and enough batteries to get through a few rainy weeks).

Side note, we're using the same sized panels in our install at work that is in progress.. just a bit more of them. 4,928 x 230W panels, tied to 3 x 333kW inverters... and it'll AT PEAK provide about 1/4th of our usage.

In short: no. Longer answer: it should cover somewhere in the range of 60-80% of our usage. But, check my Google+ page -- I've got pictures of the progress and I've answered that question already.

P.S.: It would sure help if more people added their forum name to their profile under "other names".

Not that much, as you still need to visit their About tab to see it... Using the same avatar/photo is probably the best option...

How do I get invited

I know very little about Google + but would like to stay in the loop with Sage developments. I had not been here in awhile and was surprised to see that it was now owned by Google and I have been a Sage user for several years now.

I've been using Sage since 2004. Given the current state of affairs , I have dabbled with other programs, but don't find them to be anywhere near as nice as Sage. If anyone has an invitation to Google + to send, I would appreciate it. I'd really like to stick with Sage.

Solar panels are great, but to be truly responsible, it would make sense to look at that payoff time WITHOUT the incentives (still around 8-9 years I think) - y'know, to keep us taxpayers from footing your electric bill.. :-)
