Program Guide Question

I have been doing alot of program guide searching and *sometimes* when opening, it is still at the last place i was looking at (which is usually days in the future).

Is there a way to goto the current time/channel?

If you are using an extender, pressing the guide button again will take you to the current time. I don't know of a way to take you to the current channel.

<EDIT this is true in the default UI, but not in Phoenix>

In the next release there is a menu item in the Options menu that goes to the current time. Until then I think you just have to powercycle the extender to get it to forget where it was. If you are on a full client or server just restarting the client should do the trick.

I have also noticed that fast forward and backwards work in the Guide (going forward or back a screen) but Skip Back and Skip Forward do not go back and forward 24 hours.

Will this be added?

Oh and, pressing the record button does not work on the Guide, you have to use select and choose recording options.....

Still working great however!

Yep same request for program guide, also I am overlooking something simple, when iviewing tv how do you easily pull up the info on the program as the info button takes you to a menu with current and recent recordings?
