OSD Overlay

Is it possible to customize the media playback OSD overlay? Currently the OSD brings up a grey border that fades towards the center of the screen. The grey border is obtrusive and I would prefer the OSD to display no border at all; perfectly transparent except for the time bar and any text. I notice on the official screenshots that the OSD seems to have a much more subtle fade border.

Similarly the fanart backgrounds in Movie Flow view have a washed out look to them from some sort of fade affect that is not shown in the official screen shots. Strangely, the cover flow view doesn't seem to have this affect, only the movie flow view.

You can adjust the fanart effect in the settings. Turn off "show white alpha layer".

I can't believe I didn't see that, I must have gone through each menu a dozen times. Thank you.

Btw, I found the subtitle friendly OSD to be much less obtrusive and, well, subtitle friendly
