THis is gonna be a tough pool, b/c most ppl will only have one and cant compare, unless babgvant votes.

The 2650 is a 2 tuner Prime in USB instead of network form. Tech support at happauge kinda admitted this when i noticed it installs as silicondust.

So they should be equally stable. Hardware wise, I guess they would all be the same. It is more likely that your cable provider would mess with the signal.

At $150 for the hauppauge, its worth the experiment.

from babgvant's site
http://babgvant.com/files/folders/sa...ntry19846.aspx

works great with the hauppauge (I was running 1.5)

1.5

- Add support for SiliconDust HDHR Prime & Hauppauge OpenCable Receiver DCT devices

1.6
- Staticly assign discovered tuners to specific ports
- Fix a bug in encoder generation
- Change installer to work with XP+

1.7
- Add button to reset (delete) tuner assignments
- Use tuner assignments on test tab
- Fix a bug with encoder generation when not generating all of the encoders again

Does Hauppauge support tuning adapters?
Also Hauppauge is like 2 receivers
Prime is like 3 receivers
and Ceton is like 4 receivers
Correct?

I am not sure about the tuning adapter.

Hauppauge 2 (USB)
Prime 3 or 6 (network)
Ceton 4 (internal)

Since the small disappointment with Colossus I am looking in to something more stable.Going back to HDPVR is just out of the question.
