Thumbs up Windows 8

Well, I downloaded the crippled version of Windows 8 Developer Edition that released yesterday. Installed the x64 version on an older integrated ITX system - ASUS AT3N7A-I mobo. Have been unable to setup the graphics driver yet, but thought I'd throw Placeshifter on it and see what happens.

Typical install, installed the included Java, ran the setup, entered my locator ID and signed in from work. Aside from the fact that the picture is a little choppy due to it using the supplied Microsoft Display Adapter, have to report that it appears to be functioning just fine!

I don't foresee any real compatibility problems moving to win8, as it really sin't much different from win7, aside from the new home screen and touch features.

Windows 8 works fine on my system - and I noticed there were no more spinning circles (so far!). I installed it then deleted the SageTV folder and copied it over from my Windows 7 partition.
