Pheonix error please help

I can't seem to find posts in regards to the following error and its solution:

Error-Pheonix Error
Error in vfs file:.\stv\Pheonix\vfs\vfs.xml;Attribute "name" is required and must be specified for element typw "source".

The only post I could find similar to this is this one:

Pheonix error

I followed the instruction but cannot get rid of the above error.

I really appreciate any help.

Sounds like you have an old version of the xml file or xml validation file (dtd file).

Did you try to uninstall phoenix-core and re-install to see if the issue goes away?

I followed your instructions in the thread that I linked to, as soon as I reinstall I get the error. I did not get the error until the most recent upgrade.

Thanks for taking the time to help.

Given that vfs.xml has been removed from the packages, it seems odd, that after uninstalling and re-installing phoenix-core that you'd still get the error.

I'd remove the vfs.xml and restart the server. But, given that you are getting error it seems as though the plugin extraction process is failing to do the update, so it's hard to say what other issues you'll experience.

I would, especially if you have an x-vfs.xml in there as well.

Both will work... but you don't even need to stop the service...
1. delete the file
2. in BMT web ui, refresh configurations
