The old mkv no video problem
Hi,

I upgraded my FFDSHOW install today. Now mkv video has stopped playing back in sagetv - I get a black screen though audio does play. If I chose the "default" filter, video works (doesn't use FFDSHOW).

TheaterTek plays the videos back using FFDSHOW as expected.

I have disabled the SageTV internal MKV filter so Haali loads in Sage.

Any ideas?

At a guess, a your settings from the old FFDSHOW was over written by the new version. (just a guess!)

Actually, it looks like I lost all video from FFDSHOW in Sage. Settings wise both FFDSHOW and Sage seem fine. I dare say an uninstall FFDSHOW + re-install an older, more reliable version may be in order.
