HDHR Prime $169 @Newegg

Wow, lots of good holiday deals right now, just picked this up on Newegg...

FYI, you'll need Andy's SageDCT tool for it to work in Sage, but it sounds like he's got it working really well.

I just had go and by mine 2 weeks ago for $229 from J&R. Oh well, that's usually how it goes when I decide to finally buy something...

I ordered the PRIME from MicroCenter last weekend at $209. It was the best price I found at the time. Well in the course of the week, I can now get it from NewEgg at $169 with a promo code.

After a lengthy call with MicroCenter customer support, they offered me a $10 accomodation. This was fairly insulting since the price discrepancy is $40 on a $200 purchase. When I advised them that I would refuse shipment and will never buy from them again, the rep was unmoved and offered no further accommodation. I even hinted that $30 or $20 would have appeased me, but he did NOTHING further to assist.

I have already ordered from NewEgg and am waiting for the FedEx truck so that I can refuse delivery.

I ordered Prime today! Awesome price.

Since we were not cooking for Thanksgiving, I decided to upgrade from XP to Windows 7 on Wednesday night. Well, I could not start the upgrade until after all the prime time shows were done. Had a little problem because one of add on sata cards (so I can get more hard drives in my server), but the upgrade was not bad. The only real fun was reinstalling all the programs and resetting up sagetv.

Then I saw this thread and decided mind as well!

I just got one for $200 from J&R.

Micro Center has it for $199.99 but I would have to pay shipping and sales tax.

I called J&R and they price matched and I think they aren't going to charge me shipping! Not quite the original $169 + FS.. But I'll take the $200!
considering one of my HDHR tuners in my dual tuner STB (sh$% the bed)
I'm in need of something! I miss that one tuner!
