No install option for Diamond

Just moved to Win7 64bit, and installing fresh SageTV 7.23. For whatever reason, when I select Diamond STV in the plugins menu, it doesn't give me the option to install. What am I missing?

Did you first install it as a plugin under UI Mod

The latest Diamond checks to ensure the latest SageTV STV is installed based on the version number so I assume that is the issue.

After installing, did you also update SageTV to the latest STV (I think it takes 1 or 2 updates as there we a couple for youtube and then the weather one).

Hopefully that is the issue.

Ditto to what jusjoken said.

7.0.23 isn't high enough for Diamond anymore (weather changes etc...), so you have to be using the 7.1.9 release found here,

Then you can update the STV to 7.1.9.6 and then install the latest Diamond with the weather fixes.

I updated the default STV, still there's no install option.

Oops, my mistake, I forgot that 7.1.9 was the last release.

Off topic, but anyone remember how to enter the v7 upgrade key? It pope up a message that tells me to buy an upgrade key but doesn't ask for the key. Do I need to wait for the 7 days to expire?

Doesn't sagetv REGISTER at cmd prompt work? (pretty sure register has to be all caps.)

I know sagetvclient REGISTER works on clients.

EDIT: Be in sagetv\sagetv folder to enter command line
