sage slooow

My sage server has suddenly been causing problems, sage has been running very slow, crashing and hanging. This is mirrored on my extenders.
Up till two days ago all was fine. The server pc seems fine with all other software. I updated Java to 16.30 a few days ago. Could this be the problem ?
If so how can load an older Java version ? Thanks.

I've seen that there's a java update waiting for me and I've been reluctant to pull the trigger.

It's probably possible to find an archive of java installations somewhere.

You're going to want to stick with release 26 of java. That one is perfectly stable for me.

Thanks Guys. Rolling back to Java 16.26 has helped a lot but still not 100%.

did you make sure you uninstalled the newest java first?

I think i am using .26 as well, but not sure. I use the one recommended for my movies.
