Where are DVD ratings stored?
I'm running SageTV v7.1.9.256 and using addon Sage My Movies.
I rip my DVD's to a server and us My Movies Collection Management. After I've added a new ripped DVD to My Movies Collection Management I go into Sage and tell it to scan for new media. I've got it set so that rated R movies have to key in a code before they can be played. Didn't want the younger family members watching what they shouldn't. For some PG-13 movies that I thought were still just a little too much I set the Parental Rating in My Movies Collection Management to R instead of PG-13. Now that they are older I would like to change some of them back to PG-13. So I go back into My Movies Collection Management, select the movie, change the Parental Rating back to PG-13, save it. Go into Sage and tell it to scan media. When I try to watch the movie (from either Videos-DVD/BD or Videos-My Movies) it still asks for the code because it still sees the movie as rated R. I've gone out to the server and looked at the movie's .properties file and it shows it as Rated=PG-13. So somewhere there is a setting or repository of settings for movies that are available from within SageTV. Does anyone know where that is?

Bump.
Just made a change to another movie and still get this behavior. Nobody knows where this information is stored?

It's probably "stuck" in Sage's database somewhere and not being updated from your newly updated properties file(s). Hopefully someone else will eventually chime in here because I don't know where you'd clean this up.
But, as a possible work-around, you might try moving/hiding the affected movie folders so that Sage's scanner doesn't see them. Then scan for updates again in hopes Sage removes them. Once they're gone, put them back and scan again. The hope is that this will flush out old data and import your newly updated properties files.

You should be able to find/change this info in BMT, which will interact with sage directly through the UI. I think the problem with just changing the .properties files, which is how the MyMovies plugin does it, is that sage only reads the properties files if the media file itself changes. (you should be able to 'touch' the file by changing it's date, and then on the next rescan, sage would pick up the changes).

Thanks for the posts folks.
I just did what TwistedMelon suggested. Moved it out, scanned, moved it back, scanned. Now it has the new (corrected) info.
