Feature request - Gemstone for iPad
I know this is a low probablity result but it would be great to have a native iPad Gemstone UI that provides a consistent UI with what you have on a PC and somehow hook that into video streaming capabilities.
There are a few ways to kind-of get there today, like the Sage Webserver, the Sage Mobile Websrever and TiSageTV but none of them give you the nice UI for streaming content the way that Diamond/Gemstone do.

Have you checked out Splashtop for iPad? It's like VNC (only better for video).

I have and I found it a bit laggy. I also believe that it may not work well as some of the screens, like the video wall, are not "mouse enabled" and don't respond a click from a mouse. So when you tap the poster on the wall it just sends a mouse click which doesn't do anything. Therefore you have to bring up a keyboard to send a Enter key.
I will try it again and see how it works.

Not sure on the iOS front (I've remained immune to such nonsense).. but for browsing the library and such, Stuckless has made great progress on his Android app. It currently can browse tv and video, with fanart support, and I believe can launch playback on sage devices - just not stream yet - still figuring out a way to launch a player directly to a playable stream from the server i think.
