I really liked leverage. It seemed like they were struggling to find new stories for it though. Oh well.

Yeah, I started watching because I've always liked Timothy Hutton.

Funnily enough, we drove by "their brew pub" today when we dropped off my Mom at the train station...

You have to be careful to like a fox show. You never know if it will last or not. I've gotten to where I record the season and see if it will get renewed. If not, delete. I hate getting into a show only to have it canceled with no actual resolution.

I see a couple shows where recorded the season but haven't watched yet. Most likely will end up being deleted.

Will miss Leverage, Merlin and Dirty Jobs

CW did that too me last year as well as fox. I still watch them before I know but I will probably do this too.

Dirty Jobs basically ran out of jobs - I love mike, and know he will certainly always have work. Merlin I will definitely miss - but honestly, I can't see it going on forever.

There are quiet rumors that there may be a spinoff...

True. Actually the plan for Merlin was for just 5 seasons. So just wrapping up the overall story line.

Was still enjoyable.

I am just about to give up on broadcast TV series. It appears that the higher cable channels are more reliable as far as series. Goes for ex. A & E and FX.

Wow... no shows of mine got cancelled in this round. Wait, that could be due to my not watching any new network TV shows for fear of them being cancelled. But, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, Justified, The Newsroom, and The Americans* all seem to be doing quite well. How can it be that the cable channels have magically figured out how to produce quality programming while network TV seems to have forgotten? I don't get it.

*Haven't started watching this yet, but it got renewed for a 2nd season already.

Zero Hour looked like it was going to be good - too bad it's only a pilot episode. I may just delete Vegas haven't watched a single episode yet. Liked first season of Touch better but still wish it was continued past season 2. Body of Proof was good upset I didn't record all of season 1. Liked Golden Boy and Red Widow too. Glad to see Smash gone didn't like pilot so just deleted the rest of season 1 last year and removed favorite. Shows I WISH they would cancel are the "Reality" shows.

Did the same thing as you with Smash.

I LOVED Golden Boy. That was the best new cop drama I've seen in a long time. Southland & Common Law were pretty good too. Back to endless mechanical variations on "Law & Order: Toll Both Jumping Unit" I guess..

Realistic answer: The Janet Jackson law...lol. Broadcast channels are ruled by the religious right (you know that's true). Just watch public television in Canada, England, etc....they allow WAY more adult material on free access channels. Subscription TV in the U.S. isn't governed the same

While I'm not sure religion has anything to do with it, censorship does.
