Accessing SageTV live TV streams through a URL

I've been playing around with this Android TV example code at https://github.com/googlesamples/and...-sample-inputs to see if I can get it to stream something useful. In this XML file, they define the source of the video streams for the channels :

https://github.com/googlesamples/and...inputs_tif.xml

Does anyone know if I can pass a URL from my SageTV server to it ? I need a URL per channel (not just a URL for specific file)

Thanks

I don't know of anything that gives you a url for a channel. The web servers have urls for existing media files.

The mobile web server can serve up a file via HLS that's currently being recorded, but that's not quite the same as a channel. I don't remember if the desktop web server can serve up a recording in progress or not.

If it's just live TV you want, you should look at HDHRs, they can spit out channels over a network, though I'm not sure if it's as simple as just accessing a URL.

Yeah, I'm in the UK though and SD's European HDHR is pretty old and doesn't do DVB-T2 (Which does HD OTA)
