Minimalist Server for Comcast ?
I am thinking of putting together a dedicated SageTV server for somebody.
"Comcast" specified because my only experience is with OTA and I don't know if the Comcast stream would require on-the-fly transcoding or something..... The plan would be to use LAN-connected HD HomeRun tuners and locate the Sage box under or near the main television - so it would also be feeding the TV - i.e. no HD 200s or Clients. Nice-to-haves would be (in ascending order of desisreability): - Minimal noise - Minimal size - Minimal electric consumption Has anybody done something like this ?
