Android MiniClient - Subtitle + CC support

I don't have any luck getting Closed Captions working on the MiniClient with SRT files. The same videos display Closed Captions fine on my desktop and with my Sage TV extenders.

There is also an option checkbox to display the captions on the MiniClient, and the available languages are an option as well - They just don't get displayed on the MiniClient when enabled.

What am I missing to get the CCs working on the MiniClient?

Also - I can't get alternate language tracks to play, though they work fine on the extenders and desktop. Not sure if it is related.

Do you know it works with the placeshiftter (not a full client)?

Hi, stuckless - It's weird ... I did some more checking. The problem is related to certain videos / CC files, but not all. It had happened that the first 3 independent videos I tried to play all had this issue, so I thought it was a universal problem.

However, after checking deeper, many of my videos play the captions fine in the MiniClient and Placeshifter.

There are still a fair number of my videos that won't play captions in either the MiniClient or the Placeshifter, but will play the captions when I use one of my media extender boxes.

The MiniClient and Placeshifter act differently, though, with respect to the SageTV GUI. When playing back one of the "bad" files, the MiniClient will show the caption (and alternate language) options in the video's option pop-up, but enabling the selections have no effect: The default language is heard and no captions are displayed. But, the Placeshifter GUI doesn't display any caption or language options in the video option pop-up window. Again, these work fine in a media extender box.

The problem isn't related to having multiple language / caption tracks - one of my "bad" videos just has English audio and a single English caption option.

Let me know if there is any debug information I can provide that could isolate the issue.
