Gemstone 1 for v9

As it is taking me some time to get G2 out and will be a while, I decided with the EPG announcement that it would be good to have a Gemstone 1 release that included the latest SageTV v9 STV updates so the Schedules Direct EPG settings can be configured within Gemstone.

There is ONLY 1 fix included and that is the watched conflict issue.

I do not plan to fix anything else from Gemstone 1 other than if I happen to have broken something with merging G1 into the newer SageTV STV.

Note: you should see this soon in the V9 repo once it get's published.

Awesome, thanks. This is one of a few things that screwed me up when I tried to set up SD.

I installed the update. Everything regarding Schedules Direct looks like it's working correctly. Thank you for doing this.

Hey - installed it -- but quick question:

After installing it - I am now seeing the 'progress' bar of partially (or fully) played items in my views under the show/movie names. I (apparently?) must have turned it off long ago -- but looks like it reset and I haven't the foggiest idea anymore where the option is to turn that off. Anyone know off the top of their head?

Detailed Setup, Customize...scroll WAY down to Configure Watched & Partial Bars and disable it there.

I just tried to install on a new unRAID docker install an I get a failure for dependencies for sourceforge. Any advice on how to get around this?

I have installed Java 7 as I was hoping to get Jetty to work.

Do you meant that other have installed java 1.8 rather than installer?

there are 2 dockers. use the java 8 one. its a requirement for the latest phoenix core and will be for g2.

i understand the jetty issue can be worked around as stuckless has.

Use the Java 8 version the only thing about the Web server that doesn't work is /apps page. Version 7 will not install correctly for me as it fails when trying to enter a time zone if you get beyond where you are now.

I have already installed the Java 7 one. Should I just nuke it and redo with the Java 8? Or is it easy to upgrade?

FYI, if you use the mobile view it doesn't work for various things on Java 8.

Lemon squeezy...

But it still isn't working. It installs ok but it is disabled. When I try to enable it there is a message saying "Plugin cannot be enabled. A required dependency..."

The Gemstone z API failed. Is it possible that some files stuck around from the V7 install? I noticed that Sage kept a bunch of the config stuff - I guess that is because the application folder probably didn't get nuked when I deleted the docker container.

Not for me - I can't go to /sage/Home as it gives me a 503 error. At the apps page I get a bunch of errors, but at least I get some text which means that Jetty is somewhat working.

I was able to get Gemstone to load. I deleted Gemstone and then delete Gemstone z API. Then I installed Gemstone again and it was good.

I also now have the web UI working. I don't know what got it to work but after a restart it seems to be working ok.

Could be the restart. I've had that fix other plugins even when it doesn't really make sense.
