EPG does not update without service restart

Since updating to version 9 my EPG does not update without restarting the service. Even trying to force an EPG update thought the web client is not successful. In fact, it always says "Next EPG Update In: 0.00hrs". When I restart the service I get an EPG update just fine. Any ideas?

What are you using for EPG? The original free service? A plugin? Schedules Direct?

I'm using the original free service.

In that case, I will need to see some logs. If you are running the latest version, logging should already be enabled. I would let an EPG update run through, then trigger an update and post the post from that point.

OK. It should update tomorrow morning. If it doesn't (likely), I'll try to force an update and then I'll post my log file. Thanks.

OK, so now it decides to update itself. I logged on just before it was due to update, watched to see if it did and at first it did not. So then I forced an update via the web client, but that didn't seem to work either. So I started preparing the logs to post when I noticed that it had updated! Previously it had gone several days without updating. I'll keep an eye on it and let you know if I still need help. Thanks.
