SageTV v.9 and Hauppauge Colossus drivers
Hey. Can everyone chime in on which Colossus driver version they have installed which is working flawlessly (if that's possible) with SageTV v.9 on a Windows 7 system (or 10) 32 bit?
I installed v.9 and have been having some problems with freezing video on my SageTV server while watching live video, and the occasional botched recording. I reinstalled my Hauppauge Colossus drivers and can't remember if I installed the ones I was using with my SageTV v. 7 install. thanks

When you find it, let us know. I've never been able to get past the dreaded Colossus recording problems (without daily reboots).

I'm on v1.8.31093.0 and never reboot or get bad recordings. The only time a recording is "bad" is because the audio didn't sync and I get a blank AAC track, but that is rare.
I went with a server OS and never looked back. I had to do weekly reboots when using win7. 2012 has be rock stable for sagetv.

I get this after 1-3 weeks if I don't reboot. With reboots I only get it about every 2 months. But with or without reboots it seems to come in spurts. I get several over a day and then nothing for a month or more.

I am running Windows 10 64bit with "1.8.31093.0"
I do not reboot and can't remember the last time I had an issue with a recording. If I have any problems at all it will be because of a DirecTV issue that requires an STB reboot. Can't imagine why you would not run 64bit.

I don't remember, but it was the latest as of the last time I was fighting the issue (Fall 2016 maybe). I've pulled the card at this point - it's just too unreliable in a Win 7 64bit system (two different Win7 systems tested here).

No more crashes when a program changes on the hour / half-hour No more freezes of live video I'll make some recordings tonight and see if the seven-seconds for every one-second of real time stops.

Colossus was terrible on w7 for me. For some reason going to server 2012 removed the need for reboots. Not sure what the difference would be or if w8 would have the same differences since 2012 is based of w8.

That's similar to what I've heard. Another positive makes me want to switch my Win7x64 SageTV Server that has my Colossus to Win10.

Can anyone confirm that the original Colossus can run without reboots (for over a month for example) on Win 10?
