It's not anything that has to do with Docker. SageTV has never been configured via the 3rd party web interface, always it has been done exclusively in the actual SageTV UI. That's simply sage's architecture, and it wouldn't be so much "look in the docker thread," but "look in the SageTV manual."

The problem is that the tenant "DO NOT CONFUSE" is being violated.
I think there are only two reasonable options: If most people expect sage web ui to be available, then the addon must come installed, the link should be displayed and it must work out of the box, otherwise people *will* assume such an excellent docker is broken!  If most people don't care about the web UI, and prefer a slim docker, then do not show the link (or point it to the sage docker support thread). Those that know how to install it, will also know how to add a link to their browser favorites!
