SagetV Mini Client on Galaxy S8+

Hey Everybody,

Does anyone know how to bring up the OSD controls on a GS8+ sliding in from the left doesn't work, actually sliding in from any edge doesn't work. So is there another way to bring up the OSD menu? I have tried with the V7 stv and the V3 stv. It's probably something Samsung did since it works on a Note 4 just fine.

Thanks!

Rick

You can try a two finger left to right swipe anywhere on the screen... see if that works.

Can confirm that swiping to get the on screen menu aint workign on S8+

Another thing that is missing is the the new aspect ratio definition so the app can run full screen without borders

Heres a blog post on the google android developers blog that comments bout the changes, which seems are just the metadata definition of the ap

Surprise, Surprise... Apps require updates after another Android release. I'm sensing a pattern here.

You should open a defect in the miniclient issue tracker and include a link to that article as well.

Two finger swipe from left to right that is (for other users that havent figured out)

Regarding the issue of full screen with the new aspect ratio, Samsung included a way to force specific apps to the new aspect ratio in case they arent defined already.

Settings -> Display -> Full screen apps -> Turn on SageTV App Toggle
